PLATFORM

A Mauritius platform for African capital

Kingdom Capital is an investment holding company based in Mauritius. We deploy our own and shareholder capital into African assets, usually through a vehicle dedicated to a single asset.

PLATFORM PILLARS

Five operating pillars of the Kingdom platform

Five areas explain the investment structure and the questions to address around each transaction. They do not describe a client investment management service.

01

Principal Capital

Kingdom Capital invests its own and shareholder capital. It commits its own capital to every transaction it sponsors. It does not manage client money or offer investment advice.

02

Dedicated SPV Deployment

Investments are usually made through single asset special purpose vehicles. Other participants, where present, subscribe directly into the transaction specific vehicle alongside Kingdom Capital. Security, recourse and information rights depend on its documents.

03

African Investment Pipeline

Opportunities can be discussed in the company's stated areas of activity. Sector fit alone is not enough: the business, proposed terms and material risks need review. No live deal list or pipeline volume is published here.

04

Treasury & Structuring

Treasury review considers currencies, liquidity needs and the timing of capital flows. Each structure should make these risks and responsibilities clear.

05

Governance and Allocation

Decision authority, conflicts, ownership rights and oversight responsibilities must be clear before commitment. Review the leadership page and the relevant transaction documents rather than assuming identical controls across investments.

Environmental, social and governance considerations

Responsible deployment, measured stewardship

Environmental, social and governance risks belong alongside commercial and legal questions. The review should reflect the asset, jurisdiction and operating responsibilities.

01

Ownership Responsibilities

Work with management to identify material environmental, social and governance risks, establish responsibilities and agree practical priorities for the investment.

02

Deal Sourcing & Due Diligence

Consider the environmental and social context alongside commercial, financial and legal diligence. Specialist review should reflect the sector, jurisdiction and risks of the opportunity.

03

Monitoring

Agree indicators that matter to the business and investors. Review progress, material incidents and changes in risk through the reporting arrangements established for the investment.
